Terms and Conditions

Eligibility: To use TM-Cab services, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. By using our services, you confirm that you meet these requirements and accept our terms and conditions.

How to Communicate with Us: You can contact TM-Cab via WhatsApp (text messages and calls) or email.

Booking Confirmation: A ride is only confirmed once payment or proof of payment has been received. Prepayment has become the industry standard for online travel bookings, as it helps reduce false reservations and no-shows. It is also a more convenient way for our clients to use our services. Payment can be made via EFT.

Charges, Fares, and Fees: As a rider, you understand that using our services incurs charges, fares, and fees. These charges (see details below) may vary depending on the type of service requested, including the amount of luggage, number of stops, time of day, and distance travelled. We reserve the right to determine and modify pricing, which will be quoted to you at the time of your request.

Additional Charges: Extra charges may apply due to factors outside of a standard transfer. These may include:

  • An after-hours charge of R50 per transfer (not per passenger) applies to all transfers between 19:00 and 06:30. Please note that any ride booked for after 21:00 may incur an additional after-hours fee, depending on the distance and area.
  • An extra stop along the route from the pickup to the drop-off location carries an R50 charge per stop.
  • Waiting fees of R100 per hour are applied only after 30 minutes of waiting time at the airport. However, if you notify your driver or TM-Cab of any flight delays in advance, this charge will not apply, as the pickup time will be adjusted accordingly.
  • Depending on demand and availability, you may be required to share your ride with another passenger during the adjusted pickup time.

Ridesharing: Based on the number of ride requests and available drivers, two clients may be picked up at the same time. If this happens, you will receive a 25% credit on your ride fee or a R50 cashback. Terms and conditions apply.

Cancellations, Refunds, and Damages:

  • You may cancel your request before making payment at no cost.
  • If you cancel after payment, please notify us at least 3 hours before your pickup time, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
  • Up to 80% of the fee may be refunded. Alternatively, you may reschedule your trip at no additional cost (terms and conditions apply).
  • If a driver reports that you have damaged their vehicle, you agree to pay a damage fee determined by the driver to cover repair or cleaning costs.

Liability: All persons entering a vehicle owned by or under the control of TM-Cab Shuttle Services do so entirely at their own risk.

Indemnity: You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold TM-Cab, its officers, directors, agents, contractors, and employees harmless from any claim, damage (direct or indirect), loss, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) related to or arising from your use of TM-Cab’s services. Anyone making a booking on behalf of another person is responsible for informing that person of TM-Cab’s terms and conditions and must ensure that they agree to and comply with them.
